Open Question: I need help with a speeding ticket that I got...?

I was pulled over today for going 44 mph in a 50 mph. It's clearly posted that the speed limit is 50 mph. I even said that to the officer who said, no it's only 35 mph. There are no signs that state that the speed limit decreases, it's a four lane road! And I had been on it for quite some time! The thing is, I think he's just trying to receive back at my sister for not giving him her phone number the other night when we were at the bar and he was there as well with some of his buddies (he was off duty). I reconized him from that night. But he followed us out and asked her again for her number before we left and she declined to give it to him. I think he memorized my dish number. When he had me pulled over, he acted like I had nearly ran over some kids at the bus cease! How can I receive this taken care of? I know I can prove that I wasn't speeding, I took photos of the road signs of where I was pulled over and it does say 50 mph. Well I know he's wrong, but I can I just call the county office and bring it in or talk to his superior? No, it was a sunny day out and no construction or anything else that would warrent a slower speed

Open Question: How to tolerate going to a concert that is a band I don't like?

My pal really loves The Hush Sound, and I'm not really a fan. I think the singer's voice sounds too punk... he can't help it, but it's not my style. We will receive tickets soon to look their show! I'm going, but I'm not sure how to survive it. I'm pretending to like them, for her. I'm also afraid that the crowd will be obnoxious punk kids : \ How am I going to tolerate this? Open Question: How to deal with manipulative, spoiled, little brother?

I have to look him for the holidays. He has attempted to pit my parents against me, and I think it is because he is jealous I work for the family business. However, because he is never around and lives on the other side of the country, and my mom so desperately does not want to lose contact with him, he gets my mom to pay for his extravagant lifestyle while hes in graduate school. He has tried to convince my parents and me that I am an awful brother and son and that i am taking advantage of family, meanwhile I have been working my as* off for the family business for the past 9 years, while in college and graduate school. He has also worked to pit other family members and family friends against me. Recently, my girlfriend and I prepared some food to bring home for thanksgiving to visit my parents. My other brother also came home for thanksgiving. Three days prior, he bought them tickets to Las Vegas to leave 5am friday after thanksgiving, even though my parents had already said that they weren't able to make it because they were too busy. Apparently, he called my mom and was crying on the phone saying they never arrive visit. Right now I understand that had a rendezvous with a bunch of friends in Las Vegas, and it sounds like he threw a temper tantrum when he heard that I would be spending time with my parents and guilted them into going out to Las Vegas even though it was inconvenient for them. I'm afraid I'm going to receive a laundry list of reasons why I'm a bad brother and son at Christmas time when I have to look this kid, and its difficult not to be mad that he is doing every of this. I don't know how to approach this kid, we've e-mailed a little bit but every that happens is gets explosively aggressive toward me and then says he just cannot handle it and that he does not want peace with me. What the hell do I do

Even though there isn't a statute of limitations "per say" on traffic tickets in TX wouldn't the 6th Amendment rights of a person to a "speedy trial" somehow be considered when a state i.e. TX pulls old tickets and tries to prosecute and collect fines on them ??

Before I start, yes I should have just paid the stupid ticket when it was only $10. I know, I'm an idiot... I got an overnight parking ticket 2 months ago. I parked on a side road in a Milwaukee suburb and got a ride home from some friends after celebrating a little too much. I kept forgetting about it and now it's an $85 ticket! Is there a point to me disputing the ticket? It wasn't 'winter parking rules' and there were no posted signs on the road. This is what I receive for not driving home drunk...

Honestly, I'm supposed to believe they have a fleet of planes or helicopters that are going to tug me over and give me a ticket in Traffic? Most states don't have cash to fuel these planes anyway. And if I'm speeding are they going to strafe my car? This sounds complicated and just unbelievable. When I look that sign, I read "steer like hell, you're on your possess." Open Question: about how much is a ticket for an (kind of minor?) accident?

i got into a accident earlier today and will probably be paying about $1,000 in repairs for the hood and bumper of my car. there was a chain accident (it was icy and wet too) where one guy slams his brakes then the person behind hits him and the person behind the second guy hits him and i was the fourth car and nobody hit me from behind. like i said i need a new hood and probably a new bumper, but it barely damaged the car in front of me. im just wondering how much the ticket will be because im pretty overwhelmed right now im 17 and i have nowhere close that nice of money for the repairs alone. i also have to go to court because i am still a minor and i heard i might have to take some nice of driving class at night, does anyone know how this works? ive had terrible luck lately i got hit a few weeks back (not my fault or anything) and i just got my car back friday. i guess when it rains it pours... thanks for any help i live in ohio and i was cited (along with everybody but the first car). the officer didnt finish the report because it was freezing and raining/snowing, but he said he would talk to me and the other students (it was right outside my school so 3 of the 4 of us were students) tommorow

Open Question: Should I go to my Mothers Wedding?

My mom is 44 years old with 4 "grown" kids (over 18 and out). She has been divorced 3 times in 25 years. She left me when I was 17 to move to las Vegas with her at the time boyfriend whom she had always set me aside for becuase my older brothers were out on their possess already (me being youngest). They finally broke up mothers day 2007 and right after while I was down visiting (6 mnths preg) she found a new BF and ditched me one night I was there to snooze with this new guy. They broke up and she started dating a new guy about 4 or 5 months ago and yes.. He popped the question and mom said Yes. Well they plan to receive married next September and I honestly dont want her to receive married because shes not a very smart lady when it comes to relationships. She asked if my daughter would be a blossom girl and I said eh idk I guess.. not a definite yes... She hasnt asked me to be a part of it what so ever just my daughter... My mom and I have a difficult past and she still to this day controls me due to my feelings from my childhood. So I am asking should I even attend this wedding.. and I just asked her on IM and she said Im gunna have to pay to receive there for herrrr Wedding!!! And my daughter will be 2 by then so I am going to have to buy her ticket too. Blah... What do I do?? And if not going how do I tell her without her completely hating me...

So, I signed on with AIG a few months ago, and just got a letter today saying they were canceling my policy because I had no insurable interest in the vehicle. The vehicle is registered to my parents and they're letting me steer it while I'm in college. So I was wondering if places like Geico will allow me to insure my parents car, or if I need to figure out something else. I used to be on their plan until I got my second speeding ticket. After that their insurance company dropped me, so I can't be on their plan...

I am 12 and my best pal and I are planning to go to Orlando, FL for spring break, and her mom said that we can't go unless we earn the money for it. We are leaving on March 28 (if we go) so that is only four months away! And yes I know that I can't buy a plane ticket, so we will earn it and them give it to her mom. For that act of bravery a lone, he should be counted as one of Americas bravest elected Presidents. Even if he doesen't serve a day in office! Because, its some sick. I wish him well, and his family a long, and safe life. Its some sic people out there, in our lovely country! I couldn't it! And for that matter wouldn't it! I know the republican part wanted General powell to run in the eighty's be for George Bush Sr ran again, or at least receive on the ticket. But his wife wouldn't let him, and he thought twice about it.
