just recently I got pulled over again and this time they gave me a ticket I had to go to jail and I'm wondering what's going to happen are they gonna give me a fine again or am i gonna have jail time or probation the reason my license is suspended to start with is I am trying to pay off 1,500 in fines for a bad check and a fine for driving on a suspended liscense which was 500 of that 1,400 i have two kids every on my possess no family so any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hey everyone. I've been in a long distance relationship for almost 8 months now. I'm currently on my spring break, and school resumes from April. Last year during the summer, which was also for 2 months, I asked my mom if I can arrive to Hawaii, where my bf is, and she said yes, I can and I shouldn't worry about the visa, cause she thinks I can receive a visa easily. I'm a Filipino who lives in Japan. I'm still a college student, and I only have time during spring break and summer break to look my bf. I was really looking forward to seeing him this year, cause last year I couldn't look him because I didn't have time to apply for the visa. It usually takes about a month. And during the summer last year on August, I went to look my family in London. And when I came back ti was the first week of September.. Now I regret not getting the visa around that time! As long as I have it, I can go visit my bf, as long as I have money for the plane ticket. I don't know what nice of visa they will give me. I've had friends who got a 10 yr tourist visa. Meaning they can enter and leave the US as tourists while the visa is valid, which is for 10 yrs. But of course they can only stay for 90 days. I am thinking of getting the visa, even though my mom still says she doesn't want me to go. I feel that I am a bad and greedy daughter for doing this.. it's difficult cause I don't want to disobey my mom, but I really, really want to look my bf. Our anniversary is this April... How can I convince my mom to let me go? She says she doesn't trust my bf, and that she thinks I can go when I have graduated. She is a Christian.. and quite a zealous one. And I think the reason is cause she doesn't want me to receive pregnant.. etc. A pal of mine has recently been pregnant and she had to arrive back to the Philippines to receive married. I know she is only worried about me.. I am trying to ask her nicely. And recently, when our conversation seems to go to a bad direction, when we almost start fighting, she would say her decisions final and she wouldn't like to talk about the subject anymore. I feel so betrayed and hopeless. I honestly don't know what to do. I just want to look my bf.. I did ask him if he can arrive to Japan instead.. but things aren't that easy.. my mom wants him to arrive too, instead of me coming to look him. What do you guys think? Should I arrive even though I know my mom would be upset at me, if she really doesn't agree upon me leaving? Or do you think my mom is right, and that I should let my bf arrive here instead? It's so complicated. I do want my bf to arrive here instead. He is working now. He came back to Hawaii to finish his thesis, but he couldn't so instead, he is working. Moving into Japan would cost him a lot and would also cause him stress. I don't know what to do? I don't intend on breaking up with him, cause I plan on being with him in the future, once I graduate. Do you guys think we can survive without not seeing each other physically for 2 years? I adore him and he loves me too.. I just got a ticket. The cop stopped me because one of my back lights wasn't working. But my vehicle registration had become expired not too long ago. He didn't penalize me for the light, but I still got a ticket for $54 dollars for the expired registration. No court date is required, but I can still go t court to battle it. This is actually my second ticket. Got my first one 3 years ago. I live in New Jersey and I have Geico for insurance. Since this is my second ticket, how will it affect my insurance? Resolved Question: Marijuana ticket....am I good?

I have a court date this week for a ticket I got a month ago for Marijuana possession. I was at the beach, in the process of rolling up and the cops roll through. The main cop had some attitude problems and kept insisting that we had smoked already because it smelt like "burnt weed". He then asked us to search the car, my buddies and me. I told him I had weed on me that I had just purchased from the cannabis club and I tried showing him my recommendation but he refused to even look at it and gave me this response "youre fucking card doesn't matter right now". After that I didn't say anything jst wanted those pigs out the way. What do I have here? I purchased it legally from the club and have a legit recommendation. I don't want to pay for this bs..... I live in SF btw. Again I wasn't smoking...just rolling up. The whole 3.5 of the 8th should be there as evidence that I had not smoked yet.

Open Question: Could the fact I'm having to walk to work be the reason I'm losing weight?

I'm about 2 rock overweight. I don't eat much more than I should but I go everywhere by car. Recently I lost my job and so have had a lot of stress. I have managed to find part-time work 5 miles from my home but I can't afford the extortionate bus fare for the weekly ticket so I have been walking there and back every day. It's around a 5 mile walk and takes around 50 mins. So that's 25 miles a week. But the last few weeks I've been eating quite unhealthily as I've been invited to a ton of parties and seeing as it was free food (and I'm very short at the moment) I was eating like I wouldn't be eating for another week. But the weight has been falling off me. I've lost 1 and a half rock in 4 weeks. And another 4 pounds this week. I'm now looking almost slim. I've tried every diet going and never succeeded. Could it be the walking I'm now doing? Or must I be eating less calories without realising? I have sorted my sleeping pattern out which might be something.

I'm a bit confused by the whole process of purchasing Olympics tickets. From what I understand individual tickets have already been sold and can only be purchased through the resale program? But by the looks of that there is only a certain window of time which has already lapsed but they still have some tickets.. which really confuses me. Open Question: What do I have to do to become a self employed nanny?

I'm 18 and just out of high school. I have five years experience caring for a child that was brought to me at birth, and left at age five. Also her little brother whom I had from birth to age three. I have a squeaky clean record. Not even a parking ticket. I charged $250 a week for both kids, and I gave them both my full attention and adore. My grades aren't the best, I have about a 2.0 GPA, but it's not because I'm dumb. I did online high school and my grades suffered because I spent every my time on those kids. It started out being my mom's job, but she gradually let me take over because she had more responsibilities with personal affairs. So I basically raised the kids until their parents stopped using me to put their kids in school. I want to keep doing this, and I need a job that I can receive $1000 a month for so my sister and I can pay for our apartment and every our other bills comfortably. I also have a wedding coming up next year, and I need to put a little money away for that. Any advice will be appreciated :)

Hi! I recently got a ticket for making a right turn on a red light, when there was a sign that said "no right on a red." I got pulled over almost immediately and the cop gave me a ticket for it. I didn't even know that the sign was there! I made a u turn to go check it out, and surely enough, it was there, i was just not paying enough attention. anyways i just want to ask a few questions since this is my first ticket. what is the whole procedure? even though the cop wrote down the court date and address, will I still receive something in the mail? and then do i just go to court and request traffic school and possibly receive the fee reduced? or can i just pay and do traffic school online at home without going to court? also, will the ticket show up on my insurance? reason being is that I am on my parents policy, and i do NOT want them to know at every. my car is also registered to my dad. BUT i am 18. will everything be addressed to my name in the mail? and what if i complete traffic school and it clears? do i have to show proof that i completed it somehow and then it will clear? any help would be appreciate! i am freaking out because i don't want my parents to know! i forgot to add that i live in california and they allow traffic school if its you're first ticket and it will clear the violation. also, would i even have the slightest chance in having my case dismissed if I delayed my court date? the point should NOT appear on my record until the court decides im guilty, correct?

Open Question: First time flyer, what to know ?

Hi, I'm 17, turning 18 next month and I'll receive some money I want to spend traveling next summer. The problem is I'm a little embarrassed and ashamed to admit I've never been in an airport in my life, let alone in an airplane so I have a couple of questions.. 1) Can you buy tickets at the airport ? I'm not gonna do it but I'm just curious as I've been given contradictory answers. In theory, if you can pay full fare and there is room for you, can they sell you a ticket ? 2) If yes, where do you do that ? At the airline counters ? Where are they located ? In a terminal? So it means you can receive inside a terminal without a ticket, correct ? Cause I've been told you can't, which is confusing. 3) What about if you miss a connecting flight in a country where you can't leave the international zone for a lack of visa. Can you buy a ticket there also or what do they do with you ? I guess I don't really understand how airports are organized and what's the deal about terminals, check-in counters and security. Ive been with my girlfriend for around 9 months now, but at the start of January she left to go backpacking with her best pal across Australia. Im glad that shes exploring the world and I want her to like herself, and shed always planned to go, even before we met. Okay. stay with me. This is a long story. Its crazy . But i am so confused. So , I was living with my boyfriend, we will call him R. I have known R since i was 11/12 years old. i met R through church, his parents just moved to my home state from ny. We started dating when i was 15. I did,met a boy and moved . we will call him T. T and i broke up less than a year after i moved cheated and i was broken down mentally. Still couldnt find R. One day, i decided i was going to receive dressed up, just in case. It took me every day , yet i had no plans. My best pal called, and asked me to arrive over .I walked in looked over& there he was. We will call him C. I was amazed, i pulled her to the side and demanded to know why she didnt tell me he would be there. My knees were week i propped myself against the wall , took a deep breath, and felt like i floated towards him. We instantly clicked, i was sure i knew him.didnt know how, he felt the same way. I became scared but thought the same way. He called me his girlfriend. One day he called me while he was drunk and told me to arrive to wa. That i could live with him , until i found a place and got stable. I told him to call me when he was sober. He did. And he meant every word. I wasnt soposed to move till sept to wa. But, r, was still trying to control me and i had enough. I booked a next day ticket. After i told him i booked the ticket, i got a feeling he was scared, but i went anyway. I felt like no time had passed.the next morning, we "did it". He immedately got scared..i could sense it. He told me if i wanted "my soulmate" i couldnt rush things, that we had to go slow. I was fine with that. But it hurt. He knew i wanted more. he told me he would run, if i pushed him. I wasnt pushing him. He seemed terrified of me. He asked me to stay another night but i knew i should probably go. Well , we agreed i would move in with a good pal of mine, i slowly started to feel him gaining a sense of relief and he got close to me again, we held eachother until she came to pick me up. now, one week later i got a voicemail or 3 from him, i didnt answer foolishly thinking i would just call him the next morning, well i have never heard from him since. He ran. He disappeared. And my soul was ripped into shreds. Within two months i saved enough money to move into my apt, have it fully furnished and got a promotion. I had it in my mind he would arrive back to me if i became self sufficent. Weird things happend. I was in a random city just had a thought " C is here, he lives with his girlfriend in this city. Sure enough i found out he was living in that city with a new girlfriend! R called me and convinced me to move back, he changed and wanted to receive married have kids and be together. So i booked another next day ticket. R has changed. Hes a good man now. But i cant receive over C. He promised me he wouldnt bolt again, but he did. I have dreams about him alot, i pray to God , for peace. I know one o I am just wondering, wtf. Why. I hate my stupid heart. I lived in wa for only three months that last tike, its been about 9 months since i have heard from C. I do adore R. But how can i receive married? Did c ever care? Is R the one? I cant just wait forever for someone i am not sure gives a crap about me?!! I adore them both, and have a feeling c will arrive back, but god knows how long that will be. Who am i better off with? Should i give up on C? I am a christian, and do not believe in reincarnation, but have had weird premonitions weird dreams ..weird coincidences... I have no one to tell this too ..except my bff who introduced me to C, and she is sick of hearing it. I know how i sound, i know how ridiculous this is. I know how idealistic it is to believe in soulmates and twin souls but i just cant shake the feeling that one of them is my twin flame.

Open Question: Will I get a speeding ticket ? ?

I was doing 45 MPH in a 30 I know it's agianst the law but never the less I was doing it. I was doing it on a motorbike (remember this is in the U.K.) so it has no front number dish it was an open road I was hearing down the road when suddenly bam! A police van I slammed on down to 0 MPH smoke everywhere I still never passed the police van I instantly turned around and polidded back up the road doing 20 MPH is there a chance I will receive points ? I really can do without them at the minute if I'm honest. If I do manage to receive a speeding ticket I was going to battle it and say there was a problem with my bike where the throttle was jammed open and I was just coinsodance that it happend to cease their and so vigaresly

I am traveling to Florida in April (has a party of 10) and have purchased some e-tickets for the disney parks. I was told that i need photo ID to change these tickets to disney tickets. Do we every need to take our ID or just the guide person, has i don't fancy carrying passports round every day? Thanks

Open Question: Question about law and trafic violations, PLEASE HELP?

Alright so the other day i went to my buddies home and his home was on a hill, wen i came down to turn on his road, a 4 wheeler was parked in the middle of his road, i went around him while he was raising his arms. well i go down the road to look that my buddies not there and another guy backs out in front of me to cease me, i go around him. -well they called the cops and claims i was going 60 (witch if i was i wouldn't have been able to slow down to go around the ATV or the other car, well the cop gave me reckless driving and disorderly conduct with a motor vehicle and 500 dollars in fine. -Is this right? can a cop give me tickets off another persons word? btw i was only going about 30 and my pal in my car can vouch for me. i have a court date next month what should i say. _thank you The biggest thing i noticed, is the cop wasnt there. the speed was a quote by the neighbor on the atv. idk how a pedestrian can quote me on how quick i was going.

What tool does the Democratic Party often resort to in order to win elections? The race card. As recently as 1960, the GOP attracted 32 percent of the black vote. Without the now-monolithic black Democratic vote, the Democratic Party could not survive. So it recruits and retains black voters by calling white Republicans “racists” -- and by calling black Republicans “sellouts.” We suggest black voters ask four questions: First, why are Republicans painted as the bad guys and Democrats the good guys on the issue of civil rights? The GOP is the party of Lincoln, a party founded to oppose slavery. The GOP, over the objections of the Democratic Party, backed the 13th, 14th and 15th constitutional amendments that freed blacks, granted blacks citizenship and granted blacks the right to vote, respectively. For over 100 years, Democrats fought against civil rights legislation, often reversing pro-civil rights legislation passed by Republicans. Democrats started the Ku Klux Klan, once called the “terrorist wing of the Democratic Party.” It was Southern Democrats like Alabama’s Gov. George Wallace and Birmingham Commissioner of Public Safety “Bull” Connor who opposed integration. As a percentage of the party, more Republicans supported the 1964 Civil Rights Act than did Democrats. Second, since good education is the ticket to the middle class, why does the Democratic Party force kids to go to government schools with a 50 percent urban dropout rate -- while refusing to give the parents a say in the matter? Third, how has government dependency helped black Americans? Since Democratic President Lyndon Johnson launched the pro-welfare-state “war on poverty,” poverty has flatlined. But the percentage of black kids born to unwed mothers -- many living in government-dependent households -- has increased from 25 percent to 70 percent. Fourth, why is there a double standard that protects Democrats who make racially insensitive or racist comments? Here are just some examples: Jesse Jackson called Jews “Hymies” and New York City “Hymie-Town.” He apologized. Case closed. Black Democratic former U.S. Rep. Diane Watson never apologized for her Ku Klux Klan-like attack against a black political opponent: “He’s married to a white lady. He wants to be white. He wants a colorless society. He has no ethnic pride. He doesn’t want to be black.” Then-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said of then-candidate Obama, he’s articulate and “light-skinned” with “no Negro dialect” unless he wants one. Former President Bill Clinton, in attempting to dissuade Ted Kennedy from endorsing Obama, said, “A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee.” Democratic Rep. Charlie Rangel said of Republicans, “They don’t say ‘spic’ or ‘nigger’ anymore, they just say ‘let’s clip taxes.’” Donna Brazile, Al Gore’s former campaign manager, said Republicans “have a white-boy attitude.” Then-Sen. Hillary Clinton told a black audience that the Republicans run the “home…like a plantation -- and you know what I’m talking about.” The GOP should also demand an apology. It should demand an apology from Democrats who play the race card to divert voters from the destructive effects of their wrongheaded policies. It should also demand an apology from their co-conspirators in the media for allowing them to receive away with it. Now, let us every continue the pursuit of a society based not on color of skin -- but on content of character.

Open Question: Invited to a wedding in Vegas...is it wrong/rude to plan other events while i'm there?

My brother is getting married in Vegas later this year, it's his 2nd marriage. A few days after his wedding will be the Motocross Monster Energy Cup Finals in Vegas and I really want to surprise my boyfriend of 4yrs with tickets and pit passes to the event. Is it wrong/rude to plan for this event? I don't think my brother and his (then)wife will be sticking around for much longer after the ceremony and i don't want to steer every the way to Vegas and back (at least 8hrs each way) twice in one week. I guess what i really wanna know is, should i let my brother know what my plans are? I don't want him to think that i'm being inconsiderate of the fact that he's invited me to his wedding (as far as i know none of our other sisters are invited, but every my family lives on the east coast except me). But also, i've always lived my life by some pretty simple rules, one being: "If this is something i have to keep secret from friends and family, is it really something i should be doing?" and while i know there's nothing legally or morally wrong with going to a motocross race, i just don't know if it's wrong to rub it in my brother's face that i'm going to Vegas for his wedding and the race? Thanks, you've every given some great answers and i feel confident in my decision to follow through with my plans. It will be the 2nd marriage for both of them, they had been planning a big family affair but decided instead to just run off to Vegas and receive married and possibly have a big reception once they return home. And it's not that my family has "weirdo rules" it's more so that i haven't seen my brother (or any family members) in almost 10yrs, the last time i did was for our dad's funeral and i was a pissed off mad teenager and very self-centered. I'm not that same person i was every those years ago so i really don't want my brother to think i'm the same disrespectful little brat he knew back then.
